I’m an artist living in Brooklyn. It took me a while to feel comfortable calling myself an artist. I’ve always enjoyed drawing and painting, but the imposter syndrome was strong! I initially just admired handmade ceramics in my travels and slowly adding pieces to my home. One day, my husband surprised me with a try-night class on the wheel and I loved it. I signed up for some hand building classes at Gasworks NYC, took a few more wheel classes and here I am!

I have a passion for repurposing or upcycling and have been making scrunchies from fabric scraps of clothes that now have holes in them.
Or turning jeans into a tote bag or pouch. If you have any suggestions on upcycling options, let me know!

For my day job, I am a Technical Project Manager at a tech agency.
